Invesco, the UK fund manager has fired 15 fund managers and sector analysts as part of the firm's drive to improve performance for its growth-orientated style.

Seven managers have left its London office, including Robert Churchlow, head of institutional UK equities, and Nick Ford, who led institutional European equities.
