Investec is expanding into the low-touch trading space with the launch of an electronic equity trading team.

The investment bank has tapped two hires from Panmure Liberum for the new desk.  Dominic Lowres will head the trading team as head of electronic trading and execution strategy. Lowres was previously the head of execution strategy at Panmure Liberum. He had been at Liberum since the firm was founded in 2007.
