The Investment Association, the trade body for the UK’s fund management industry, has made three appointments to its heavy-hitting board of directors.

The new arrivals to the 18-strong board are Keith Skeoch, co-chief executive of Standard Life Aberdeen; Patrick Thomson, chief executive for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at JPMorgan Asset Management; and Philippe d’Orgeval, UK head at Axa Investment Managers.
