Advisory boutique Gleacher Shacklock this week helped Schroders complete one of the largest acquisitions in its history – a deal which brought a host of Square Mile heavyweights together in the same boardroom.

Schroders, one of the UK's largest listed fund managers, on Monday announced it had reached an agreement to buy wealth manager Cazenove Capital in a £424m all-cash deal. The deal was one of the largest in Schroders' 209-year history.
