Large investment banks in London have begun cancelling sought-after internships due to start in the coming weeks because of the spread of the coronavirus.

BNP Paribas, JPMorgan, Citi and Morgan Stanley have all decided against taking in university students for an annual two-week stint over the spring, according to people familiar with the banks’ plans.
