Investment firm snares head of CSFB UK broking arm

Nick Brigstocke, chairman of UK broking at Credit Suisse First Boston, is leaving to take up a post as European chairman of Moore, Clayton & Co, a financial consultancy and investment firm with offices in the US and Europe.

Brigstocke will be rejoining Tony Moore. The pair worked together from 1993 to 1998 at Barclays de Zoete Wedd (BZW), the UK financial institution where Brigstocke was chairman and managing director of corporate broking. Moore left BZW in 1998 when CSFB took over, to set up Moore Clayton & Co (MCC) with Sharon Clayton, a US financial consultant.
