Investment giant Partners Group appoints co-CEO

Swiss investment manager Partners Group has promoted David Layton to co-chief executive, replacing Christoph Rubeli, a 20-year veteran of the firm.

Layton, a partner at the firm who heads its private equity practice, will replace Rubeli on January 1, 2019, Partners Group said in a statement. He will co-lead the firm alongside chief executive André Frei, who has held the role since 2013.
