Investor lawsuits under threat as second case fails

US Judge Milton Pollack dealt a second blow to pending investor lawsuits, ruling that individual investors should have been known about any conflicts of interest on Wall Street.

For the second time this week Pollack dismissed a case brought against Merrill Lynch. Investors in one of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers' (MLIM) technology mutual funds claimed that they were victims of Wall Street's conflicts of interest.
