Amundi, Investec and HSBC Global Asset Management are among a group of eighty-eight investors mounting a fresh push to name and shame companies they say are not transparent enough about their impact on the environment.
The new initiative is aimed at more than 700 companies in 46 countries that do not currently report climate change, water security and deforestation data through the CDP, a non-profit global environmental disclosure platform. Altogether the companies are worth $15.3tn in market capitalisation.
