Investors may shun Crédit Agricole IPO

Institutional investors will shun the IPO for Crédit Agricole, the French bank, because of the complex structure of the organisation and the high share price, according to analysts.

Keith Baird, a bank analyst at fund manager Prudential Bache, said: 'You have to ask yourself if Crédit Agricole is an organisation devoted to shareholder value. The answer is probably no, so institutions will steer clear.'
