Investors reassess corporate bonds

Corporate bond investors will be wary of lending to companies through the bond market in the wake of Enron's collapse, according to Schroders, the fund management firm.

John Davis, head of credit research at Schroder Investment Management North America, says: 'The sudden collapse of Enron has had a profound impact on many areas of the financial markets but perhaps the greatest impact is on the analysis of and investment in corporate bonds.'
