US markets fell on 17 February after President Joe Biden warned Russia could invade Ukraine within days. The S&P 500 posted its biggest daily percentage drop in two weeks, closing the day down 2.1 %.

Meanwhile the tech-heavy Nasdaq fell almost 3%, extending the downward spiral seen since the start of the year.
