The French government is to press ahead with the privatisation of its motorway networks, following the success of last year's €2.6bn ($2.8bn) partial flotation of Autoroutes du Sud de la France (ASF).
The government has retained HSBC CCF as an adviser on initial public offerings (IPOs) in the sector. A source close to CCF, which advised the state and acted as global co-ordinator on the ASF privatisation, said the timing of the transactions depended on political decisions that had yet to be made.
