Iris Financial has made two appointments in an effort to capitalise on the growing demand for the firm's financial software solutions among mid-tier institutions.

The provider of tailored component-based financial software solutions has hired Gerry Fernandez from OM Technology as sales manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will be responsible for the expanding sales of the firm's component services architecture and the launch of new products within Iris' existing customer base. Fernandez is joined by Rebecca Bond who will be global head of marketing overseeing the firm's activities in London, New York, San Francisco and Tokyo.
