The Israel Securities Authority says volatility has jumped in the country since the outbreak of war with Hamas on 7 October, but the regulator is "operating at full capacity" to keep markets stable.

Conflict between Israel and the Palestinian militant group has escalated since Hamas invaded the country over the weekend. After retaliatory strikes on Gaza, some 2,000 people are believed to have died across the two territories. Among them, 17 UK nationals are feared dead or missing.
