Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), the proxy research and corporate governance services provider, is to offer its customers the electronic proxy voting capabilities via CrestCo, using SettleNet, the secure internet protocol (IP) network from Syntegra, the integration company.

The CrestCo electronic proxy voting service began on Monday. As a voting service provider, ISS can submit proxy instructions on behalf of the registered holders of shares. The company will submit these instructions via Syntegra's SettleNet service.
