Italy calls in Credit Suisse on Alitalia

The Italian government has called in Credit Suisse to work on the auction of national airline Alitalia, just as one of the two remaining consortiums could be blocked from bidding.

Credit Suisse has been handed the mandate by Italy's finance ministry to independently review the bids for the state's 49.9% stake in the flagging carrier, according to Bloomberg.
