ITG Europe chief goes after 10-year fight for trading transparency

Alasdair Haynes, the chief executive of agency broker ITG International, who has been a leading light in calls for transparency and efficiency for buyside institutions for the past 10 years, has left the company. His name has been closely linked to the search for a new chief executive of the London Stock Exchange, which is in its final stages.

New York-based broker ITG, the parent of ITG International, confirmed today that Haynes is "moving on after a decade of service". ITG thanked Haynes for his "hard work and leadership of our international operations" but did not say what Haynes will be doing next.
