Frankfurt may not be the prettiest financial centre in the world, but that didn't stop around 500,000 people turning out for the city's third Skyscraper Festival over the weekend.

The festival saw some 16 of the tallest towers in Frankfurt throwing open their doors to those members of the public who have a head for heights and who fancy a bird's-eye view of Frankfurt.
