Ixis Asset Management Group, the $581bn (€460.6bn) investment manager, has named a new executive vice-president for its subsidiary IXIS AM Global Associates as part of the firm's efforts to expand its global distribution.

Hervé Guinamant will take charge of fund administration of IXIS International Funds registered in Luxembourg and Dublin. In addition, he will take on responsibility for distribution, sales, and management development for the United Kingdom, continental Europe except France, and the Middle East.
