Jailed ex-Schroders trader ordered to pay £350,000 for insider dealing

A former trader at UK asset manager Schroders, who was jailed last year for insider dealing and subsequently banned from working in finance, has been ordered to pay £350,000.

Damian Clarke, who worked at Schroders from 2000 to 2013 as an assistant fund manager and, later, an equities trader, was sentenced to two years in prison in June 2016 after pleading guilty to nine counts of insider dealing.
