Morgan Stanley veteran aims to climb debt mountain

A 22-year veteran at investment bank Morgan Stanley, who last year scaled Mount Everest, is taking on a new challenge by launching a European private debt firm

A 22-year veteran at investment bank Morgan Stanley, who last year scaled Mount Everest, is taking on a new challenge by launching a European private debt firm amid growing appetite from investors for exposure to the asset class.

Jakob Lindquist, who worked at the bulge-bracket bank from 1990 until last year, most recently holding the role of co-head of the global financial institutions group for Emea, has set up Cordet Capital Partners, with a view to attracting investors to a first-time fundraising effort.
