Janus and Henderson seal $6bn merger

Henderson Group and Janus Capital have completed their merger, creating an active asset manager with greater scale amid rising pressure to compete with index-tracking rivals.

The asset managers confirmed in a statement on Tuesday the creation of Janus Henderson Group, with assets under management of $331bn and a market capitalisation of $6bn.
