Janus Capital, the Denver-based growth manager rumoured to be considering a management buy-out, has appointed Brad Gillman as vice president and director of consultant relations of its institutional business.

Gillman, who will be based in San Francisco will report to Carolyn Patton, vice president and global director of consultant relations at Janus Institutional Asset Management.
