Some of the world’s biggest asset managers are addressing transgender and non-binary employees’ concerns amid criticism of the industry’s record on diversity and inclusion.

Janus Henderson Investors, which has £282.9bn under management, circulated new guidelines to its more than 2,000 staff globally on 10 February to support employees and managers of trans employees, as well as educate them about using a person’s preferred pronoun when talking to or about them.
