Janus opens Hong Kong office

Janus International has opened an office in Hong Kong as part of its move to expand significantly in the region. It plans to register its mutual fund range in Taiwan and Korea next year.

The Denver-based firm has hired Edmund Lacis, former director of business development at Fidelity Investments in Asia, as regional director and head of the Hong Kong office. The new office has four marketers and two Asian equity traders.
