JCDecaux shares held up in their first hour of trading on the Paris Bourse after the company's turbulent initial public offering.

The share rose slightly to €16.55 ($14.1), just above the issue price of €16.5. That was the bottom of a range that had already been cut back dramatically, meaning that the final price was 33% lower than the top of the original price range.
