Jefferies today announced the appointment of Goran Avdicevic as a managing director of industrials investment banking. Avdicevic will focus on the transportation and logistics sector and will be based in the firm's New York office.

Avdicevic joins the firm from JP Morgan, where he was executive director and senior coverage officer in the transportation investment banking group. Prior to JP Morgan, Avdicevic was employed at Bear Stearns, where he was a VP and coverage officer in the transportation and logistics group.
