Jefferies pledges day of trading gains to Australian fire fight

The US investment bank follows in the footsteps of Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and JPMorgan's relief efforts

US investment bank Jefferies will donate a day of trading gains to support relief efforts after the devastation caused by the wildfires in Australia.

On 22 January, net commissions on trading in Asia-Pacific securities — including equities, fixed income and foreign exchange — will be given to organisations involved in rescue and recovery efforts.
