Gary Jenkins, one of London's most high-profile credit analysts who quit Deutsche Bank last month, has re-emerged as a partner at a new investment manager set up by two former colleagues from Barclays Capital.
Jenkins, who ran the credit research team at Barclays Capital until switching to become managing director and head of European fundamental credit strategy at Deutsche in December 2004, sparked intense speculation about his destination when he resigned from the German bank for a role in investment management but did not disclose the name of his new employer.
