Jeremy Hunt: ‘London’s stock market demise is massively overstated — we’ll have seven big UK tech stocks’

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has dismissed suggestions that London’s stock market is dead, predicting that the UK will have at least seven listed tech giants in the next decade.

“I think London’s stock market demise is massively overstated. We do have challenges, and we’re addressing those challenges,” the chancellor of the exchequer told Financial News in response to a question at the WSJ CEO Council Summit.
