State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) has secured John Lewis Partnership, the UK retailer, as the third institutional client of its socially responsible index product, a joint venture with Isis Asset Management

The UK pension fund will use the investment service, which provide index-tracking funds with a socially responsible investments (SRI) overlay, on its £400m (€606.9m) UK and overseas equity index portfolio.
