Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, one of the largest law firms in the US, has hired a team of four employment lawyers from a UK firm as part of drive to increase its range of corporate advice for European mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Michelle Haste, Nicola Whiteley, Emmanuelle Ries and Mandy Perry join Jones Day from the London office of Hammond Suddards Edge. Peter Faber, an M&A partner and head of Jones, Day in London, said that the firm is still looking to recruit corporate lawyers, in particular in the M&A, pensions and anti trust sectors.
