Dixit Joshi has left Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) after eight years with its equity and risk divisions to join former CSFB colleague, Maurits Schouten, at Barclays Capital (BarCap).

From next month Joshi will be responsible for running equity-derivatives trading and arbitrage at the UK bank. He will be based in London and report to Schouten who runs the equity-linked division and is also co-head of the bank's collateralised finance group. Schouten joined BarCap in May after taking a sabbatical from being head of equity derivatives at CSFB.
