JP Morgan calls in ex-Russian regulator

JP Morgan has appointed a former head of Russia's regulator as a senior investment banker in Moscow amid a hiring spree that will also reportedly see it hire up to 30 staff in Germany this year to take advantage of the recovery of Europe's largest economy.

The bank has hired Dmitry Vasiliev as a managing director in its investment banking operations in Moscow.
