JP Morgan Cazenove capped a strong run in the traditionally quiet month of August with a £348 million equity placement on Wednesday for G4S, the FTSE 100 security group.

The bank acted as joint broker, global coordinator and bookrunner on the deal alongside Citigroup. Barclays also acted as joint bookrunner. The banks declined to comment.
