JP Morgan Chase asset management chief quits

Ramon de Oliveira is set to retire as JP Morgan Chase asset management chief in August, and will be replaced by James Staley, who currently co-leads the company's private banking operation with him.

JP Morgan insiders say that de Oliveira is resigning for personal reasons unrelated to the recent takeover of JP Morgan by Chase or performance problems for institutional funds in Europe.
