JP Morgan Chase merger fell short of expectations

The merger of Chase Manhattan and JP Morgan is not going to produce the expected gains in the current market environment, according to Moody's the ratings agency.

Moody's has changed its outlook on JP Morgan Chase, the merged entity, from positive to stable, saying that &quotrevenue and earnings growth expected by the firm at the time of the merger has been pushed into the future&quot.
