Bill Harrison, chairman and chief executive of JP Morgan Chase, vented his anger at what he described as the "political and media frenzy" surrounding the bank's involvement with Enron.
In a crisis conference call for investors and analysts following a dive in JP Morgan's share price this week, Harrison said: "We thought that it was important in this environment that we actively communicate with all our constituents. We are in a political and media frenzy that is quite extraordinary."
