JP Morgan could spark bank exodus to Euroclear

JP Morgan Chase's decision to move $150bn (€168bn) of its assets from Clearstream to Euroclear will spark a migration of big banks to Euroclear - but smaller brokers to Clearstream, according to analysts.

One senior analyst at a US firm said that at least two banks, thought to be UBS Warburg and Citigroup, may follow JP Morgan Chase's lead.
