Kevin Carter, the former European head of investment consulting at Watson Wyatt, has become the latest consultant to jump ship to an investment bank by joining JP Morgan's pensions advisory team.

He will start on November 1 as head of the investment bank's pension advisory group for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and will also join the pension steering committee.
