JP Morgan gets Blessing for German investment banking

The US bank has hired ex-Goldman Sachs veteran Dorothee Blessing, part of a German banking dynasty, as vice-chairman of investment banking

JP Morgan has appointed Dorothee Blessing, a former Goldman Sachs veteran and part of a German banking dynasty, to head investment banking in Germany.

Blessing, who has previously featured on Financial News's list of the 100 most influential people in European capital markets, will combine the role of vice chairman of investment banking in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and head of investment banking for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at the US bank, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
