JP Morgan has formed a strategic alliance with Gothaer, one of Germany's largest insurance groups, to launch the first insurance company fund supermarket trading platform for investment funds.

The platform, known as Gothaer FondsStation, is now live and will enable some 2,300 Gothaer agents and more than 4,500 brokerages to trade the shares of various investment companies through a single customer custodian bank.
