JP Morgan names new rates heads

US bank makes changes at the top of the business, which benefited from macro events in the first quarter

JP Morgan has picked two new co-heads of global rates trading, a business that the bank expects to yield higher returns in the future after bouncing back across Wall Street in the first quarter.

Charles Bristow and Thomas Pluta have replaced Kanav Bhagat at the helm of the US bank's global rates trading business, according to an internal memo sent to staff last week by Troy Rohrbaugh, global head of macro trading.
