JP Morgan has handed its top equity strategist in Europe new global responsibilities amid a wider research reshuffle that also sees the bank name a successor to well-known strategist Thomas Lee.
The US bank has handed Mislav Matejka, its head of European equity strategy since 2005, an expanded role, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News. Matejka is now charged with coordinating the bank's equity strategy globally, a role in which he will liaise with the bank's regional and country strategists for the US - the job previously held by Lee - Asia, emerging markets and Japan.
