JPMorgan raises odds of a Brexit deal to 80% on improved Brussels mood music

Johnson is set to have a call this week with European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen in an attempt to finalise an agreement

The odds of a Brexit deal are improving, analysts at JPMorgan have said, as signs from UK and EU negotiators in Brussels indicate progress is being made in the talks.

In a note to clients on 24 November, economic and policy research analyst Malcolm Barr said reports have suggested that the two sides have “made enough progress in narrowing their outstanding differences that there is a significant chance of a deal being announced in the coming days, with several suggesting early next week as the most likely timing”.
