JP Morgan triples floor space in Manhattan

US bank is creating more room for its digital expansion in New York

JP Morgan triples floor space in Manhattan

JP Morgan is more than tripling office space for its digital teams in New York, writes Keiko Morris for The Wall Street Journal.

The banking giant has struck a 15-year lease deal for around 300,000 square feet at Five Manhattan West. JP Morgan, which first took up around 125,000 square feet in the gleaming structure on midtown's far west side in 2014, eventually hopes to have between 2,000 and 2,500 staff based there.
