JPMorgan pauses plans to bring thousands of London staff back to the office

JPMorgan has halted its plan to bring around half of its 8,000 London-based staff back to the office as coronavirus cases spike in the UK.

The US investment bank was gradually increasing the proportion of staff in its Canary Wharf headquarters to 50% after reopening its office - complete with 31,000 stickers directing staff on how to keep Covid safe - in July.
