Worldpay Group has been approached by JPMorgan Chase and rival Vantiv about a possible acquisition - less than two years after the FTSE 100 payments processing company listed.

The company made the announcement today following "press speculation concerning Worldpay and Worldpay share price movement" but added that there was no certainty that an offer would be made.
