JPMorgan bolsters private capital team in London

US bank has been steadily adding to its teams of advisers to private companies

JPMorgan has promoted a dealmaker to run part of its business focused on generating deals from private companies, an increasingly competitive market for large banks in Europe.

The bank has named James Mazur head of private syndicate in London, according to an internal memo. He will report into Rahul Bhandari and Tilman Pohlhausen.
